Watercolor

I bought some water color paper over the holiday break last year, with the intention of teaching myself to watercolor. One of my failed resolutions, until now! I got bored tonight after working on a lab, so I randomly whipped out the 'ol cheapy Prangs and my water color crayons from about 9th grade.


The result:
















They're all really tiny, about 3" x 3".

Not too shabby for self-taught, I think... I'm still getting used to the transition from acrylic, where the basic technique was OMG GET IT ON AS FAST AS POSSIBLE BEFORE IT DRIES. With watercolor, you kind of have to wait for everything to dry before adding another coat. Takes patience. Meh.
